First you need to log in to your cPanel. Click on the MySQL Databases button in the Databases tab.
This will bring you to the MySQL Database page.
First you need to create a new database. Enter the name of the new Database into the Create New Database field. It should be the first field on the page. I will use “test”.
Once the green check mark is there, click on Create Database. This brings you to a new page confirming the creation of the database.
Click on Go Back at the bottom of the page. Your database should appear under Current Databases.
Now we can create the new user. Fill out the username, and the password. Then click on Create User. As a side note, make sure you keep track of whatever password you use.
This takes you to a page that confirms the user has been created. Click on Go Back.
Now we can assign the user to the database. Go down to nearly the bottom of the page, and you will see an Add User To Database area.
Select the User that you created, select the database you created, then click on Add.
This takes you to a new page. Click on All Privileges, then click on Make Changes.
Finally, a confirmation page will show up. Click on Go Back, and you are done.
